Our Mission
It is the mission of Champlin Orthodontics to provide the highest level of quality personalized orthodontic service to the Greater Antelope Valley. To accomplish this, the doctor sees every patient every visit. We use the latest orthodontic techniques, the highest standards in sterilizing procedures, keep on-time appointments and strive to complete each case at the previously projected time. All diagnosis and treatment plans are made with the latest diagnostic techniques.

Champlin Orthodontics is a personalized, privately owned orthodontic practice. As one of the area’s leading orthodontic offices, we have a caring, most highly trained staff. Our staff is friendly, professional and all work together to be attentive to our patients and parents. As all of our referrals come from satisfied happy patients and from dental professionals recognizing our excellent treatment results, we want to earn your confidence and respect in hopes that you will refer your friends and family to Champlin Orthodontics.

Appointments and Office Hours
Your time is important, and we make every attempt to remain on schedule, as we realize that you have many daily activities. As a courtesy, we ask that our patients call us at least 24 hours in advance of any appointment that must be changed.

Our regular patient hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday; emergency care outside of these hours is always available. During treatment, school-age patients will occasionally need to miss some school, as there are some complex procedures that can only be completed in the morning or early afternoon hours. We see our patients at four- to six-week intervals, and we try to alternate the visits between in-school and out-of-school hours. Beyond this, we try to accommodate your schedule as often as possible as long as the patient’s treatment time is not compromised.

Failed Appointments
Certain situations arise that hinder us from keeping appointments. These emergencies happen to each of us and cannot be avoided. However, when a patient knowingly fails to keep an appointment, it is lost time. Failed appointments do not allow us to use our time efficiently, even if the appointment was only a short one. Therefore, we request that you call well in advance to re-schedule an appointment when you determine that you will be unable to keep it. Continued failed appointments will result in additional fees.

Long Appointments
From time to time, it may be necessary for a long appointment to be scheduled during our morning hours. The appointment secretary will work with you in finding a time that will be both convenient for the patient as well as enable us to accomplish the work that needs to be done. By scheduling long procedure appointments in the morning, we are able to offer more appointments after school and/or work.

Emergencies
If you are having a problem, we will be more than happy to see you to make you comfortable. We prefer that in an emergency you see Dr. Champlin. However, should you have a problem of an emergency nature after hours (e.g. you are in pain and can get no relief from the use of orthodontic wax or simple emergency procedures at home), we can be reached by calling 945-7868. At the onset of a problem, please give us a call.
